I use to visit the water park when I was younger (about 12 to 15 years ago) I want to know what happen to this place. It was a lot of fun and my family and I use to travel all the time there from Chicago. It is just hard braking.

It closed about two summers ago in 2006, I believe.
The sign and the slides are still physically there, but it's not open for business. Rumor has it that Whole Foods will eventually move to that location.
Small local water park Reviewed by HelloMetro User on

This water park is pretty small. It only has one big waterslide and a shallow pool where you can float on tubes. It is fun for little kids because the pool is very shallow and they like playing with the fountains that spray water. Older kids may like the go karts and the bumper boats. They also have a small arcade and snack bar. Many summer camps reserve a spot at the park for the day. They give each camp group a specific site where they can leave their bags and their belongings while they go play. It's a pretty small park so you don't have to worry about letting your kids run around because you can always find them.
