Yanni's Greek Restaurant - (847) 952-1111

I made reservations for 10 people to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday on Dec 4th, 2009. The food at Yannis was good but the service not so great. About 9:30pm, the hostess came to our table and asked us to leave because our table was reserved to someone else. (That night they had a Greek entertainment.) We didn’t have time to finish our coffee and we had to get up and go so that the tables could be rearranged for r the next patrons. I believe the way we were treated was very unprofessional. I will NEVER go to Yanni’s restaurant again and I will NEVER recommend Yanni’s to anyone. I have a suggestion for the owner (its clear has no clue how to run a business) make a decision if you want to run Yanni’s as a restaurant or a nightclub and stick with one.

This is a very nice upscale Greek restaurant. They have a daily selection of fresh seafood, steaks and all the favorite Greek dishes. I've never been disappointed, from the delicious fresh bread to the Taramosalata to any entree's I've had- Seafood & Greek dishes mostly. Yanni's is a nice spot for a business lunch with great ambience-like a short get away to the Greek Islands. The service is very good! The outside entrance is gorgeous with a majestic fountain & flora that wraps around the building, providing a lovely view from a window seat. I recomend taking a date to Yanni's for a nice dinner or business lunch. You will love the food, service and ambience

We went to Yanni's last night and had one of the best meals I have ever enjoyed! The food was amazing! The waiter made wonderful recommendations and was attentive and thoughtful. The room was beautiful. It was the best meal we have had in years! Highly recommended.
